New Zealand based Rally Tours NZ Ltd completed yet another successful Beijing to Paris “4x4 Self Drive Overland Expedition in August this year.

This is the 2nd of these amazing adventures that company owner and tour leader Greg Paul has offered to New Zealanders  Our clients are generally semi retired couples looking for a unique experience visiting countries, cities and historical attractions only previously read about in history books, novels and National Geographic.

Rally Tour’s Beijing to Paris and east-bound Silk Road overland journeys provide the opportunity to immerse into a variety of countries and cultures only recently accessible to Westerners. Rally Tours will offer three 4x4 departures for 2011 which will appeal to clients from NZ, Australia and the UK.  Having completed a reconnaissance expedition in May this year we are ready to offer the 50 day “Silk Road” trip to our clients. Starting from London and bound for Beijing we pass through 7 European countries before arriving in Istanbul. Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and the west to east crossing of China will complete this amazing 16,000km adventure.

Departing early July is our popular Beijing to Paris expedition. Negotiating China’s Outer Mongolia region and then the exciting and vast Gobi Desert of Mongolia we enter Siberia. It is an action packed 6000km drive to Moscow from here. St Petersburg, the heritage capital of the Russian empire is our last stop before travelling through the Eastern Bloc countries to our Iconic destination, romantic Paris. Do join us.
