A stunning Porsche 911 Turbo will be one of the stars of the show in BCA’s special Christmas Classic sale at the Blackbushe auction centre on Tuesday 2nd December commencing at 12 Noon.

BCA will offer a wide selection of modern sporting classics, luxury limousines and collectable cars spanning the years of motoring history - and being Christmas – there will be something to tempt the most discerning of palates.  BCA Manager Robin Lawton commented “Car enthusiasts and collectors might need to clear a bit of extra space underneath the Christmas tree this year because we have some wonderful classics on offer at Blackbushe.”

A unique series of one-off customs by leading UK customiser, Andy Saunders joins the line-up of vintage motor cars

LONDON, RM Auctions, in association with Sotheby’s, will shine a spotlight on a host of creative custom cars by leading UK designer, Andy Saunders when the curtain rises on their second annual ‘Automobiles of London’ event at Battersea Park, London on October 29th .

Maybe it is the unseasonably warm October weather, but classic car enthusiasts continue to ignore the cold fingers of recession as BCA’s latest sale confirms. The company’s specialist ‘Classics from BCA’ department recorded another good result in its sale held earlier this month at Blackbushe. ‘Classics from BCA’ Manager Robin Lawton commented “Once again we had a good turnout of buyers and we sold 28 cars for a 60% conversion with a number selling for well above their estimate.”

Two golden Ferrari-related registrations have cooked up a storm of interest in the first DVLA Personalised Registrations sealed bid auction.  

250 SWB and 250 TDF - each with a reserve of £1,200 – and regarded as possibly the Holy Grail of private registrations by some Ferrari aficionados, will be sold to the highest bidder when the sale closes at 2pm on Friday, October 31.

Dorset Vintage and Classic Auctions Autumn Sale Results

The recent auction sale held by Dorset Vintage and Classic Auctions, based in Stalbridge, North Dorset, proved that enthusiasts and collectors of all types of historic vehicles, motorcycles, automobilia and railwayana are still willing to invest in their interest, despite the well-publicised credit crunch. The glorious early autumn day helped to attract some eight hundred people to the Gartell Light Railway in Yenston, five miles from Wincanton in South Somerset. 

The star of the show, a 1937 Aston Martin 15/98 Sports has found a new home in the North of England, selling for the sum of £55,000. The new owners are intending to rebuild the original engine (at present, the Aston is fitted with a Riley Big Four), obtain FIA papers and race the motor car at the Classic Le Mans.
