The first jeep appeared in late 1940, an incredible achievement for what was effectively a new type of vehicle, and freelance designer, Karl K Probst, who had designed the machine over little more than a long weekend had every reason to be pleased with himself. After WW2, Willys-Overland registered the Jeep name, and started production of the first civilian Jeep - the CJ2A. This book is a tribute to the Jeep and to some of the military machines which followed in its footsteps. Format: A4 paperback Publish date: 2006 Pages: 99 ISBN: 1-873098-76-6
