BSI has announced a full review of the PAS 125:2007 Vehicle Body Repair Standard. Announcing the review at the recent PAS 125 Working Group David Ford, Executive Director, Healthcare and Testing Services at BSI said the aim was to complete the review by the end of 2010.

Thatcham, the insurer funded research centre remains the sponsor of the standard; the members of the review team will be announced shortly. The standard which was published in 2007 covers the repair process associated with accident damaged vehicles. Bodyshops are audited against PAS125:2007 and if compliant may be awarded the Kitemark to display at their premises, in the last 2 years over 680 bodyshops have successfully achieved the Kitemark.
