Haman Sports |  | If you fancy blowing your mod budget all in one go then these interior carbon fibre products from Hamann will leave you penniless but very, very happy. Available through stockist Lohen, for first generation MINIs, there are two carbon fibre sets to choose from.
Set one, priced at £1,350, is available for the One, Cooper, Cooper S and One D and includes all of the dash covers, speedo rings and ventilation, steering column, middle and passenger air bag sections.
Set two, priced at £2,860, for the One, Cooper and Cooper S has a replacement handle for the handbrake lever and trim rings for the gear lever housing, cup holder, door handle, door opener frame, front large speakers, oval door trim covers (4 piece) and B-pillar covers. A matching steering wheel with carbon fibre inserts will set you back at £620 (£735 with multi-function or steptronic functions).

|  | The effect a carbon fibre dash can have on your MINI is out of this world – especially when you can choose the colour too!
Available from Classical Dash for the One, Cooper and Cooper S (2001-06), it’s not just looks that are important but safety is too with the airbag still fully operational unlike some other replacement dashes. Made from twill-weave carbon fibre, it can be stained in various colours to suit an individual’s taste (matching body colour).
Manufacturer Classic Dash is keen to point out these are not ‘stick on’ parts but a direct exchange for your present dashboard and can be fitted by one of its own technicians, a recommended stockist or you can do-it-yourself at home.

|  | A new product to hit the MINI market from Forge Motorsport is sure to attract major interest from enthusiasts after its release late last month.
It’s a carbon fibre induction kit for the Cooper S (R56 models, 2007 on) to replace the original filter and air box.
Designed to improve the breathing of your engine, this kit maintains the intake of colder air from the front of the vehicle to ensure performance gains achieved through using a free flowing filter are not lost by drawing in warmer air from within the engine bay.
Forge claims users of this kit, priced at £178.08, have reported on the ease of installation and a sportier sound without being obtrusive.
Another carbon fibre modification to consider from Forge is an air intake bonnet scoop, priced £97.27, for the Cooper S. The interior products also ooze racing style and what better way to enjoy your driving than handling a sport steering wheel, gear lever knob and handbrake handle in leather and carbon fibre trim.
Finally finish the look off with hand finished, interior trim strips to give your MINI a truly cutting-edge feel. Prices range from £56.95 for the gear knob, £295 for the rear diffuser and £395 for the rear spoiler.
