The Whitbread space frame consists of an integral roll-cage, tubular front wing bars and an outer rear tub frame. They're made from 1.5 or 2 inch nominal bore tubing which makes them both strong and affordable.
Fitting these frames to the chassis though is a fully customisable process: First the chassis is cut and shortened (and de-bracketed where necessary), the roll cage is then fitted, the rear of the chassis is modified and a new box section rear cross member is fitted along with rock sliders.
The types of frames available include an 80in Trial Frame, the bench mark for trials and tackling demanding terrain, an 88in Comp Safari/Trial Frame, which is an ideal all rounder and the 100in Comp Safari Frame, perfect for events which demand good stability.
