PEUGEOT 106 SXi - 106 Waterboost PerformanceQ I want to improve the performance on my 106 SXi, but don't want to increase fuel consumption. I've heard about a system called WaterBoost, which draws hydrogen and oxygen into the induction system and increases performance of the engine. Do you know anything about it and whether it can be fitted to my 106? Has anyone used this kit and found any performance gains? A The WaterBoost system separates water into hydrogen and oxygen, then allows the engine's induction system to draw the gases into the combustion chamber. When combined with petrol and air, a cleaner combustion is produced, resulting in reduced emissions. It also greatly improves the torque of the engine and is believed to add a little bhp. The results are interesting with reduced fuel consumption, cleaner emissions and lots more torque. The kit costs £500 and takes roughly half a day to fit. Further details can be obtained via WaterBoost's website at www.waterboost.co.uk or call them on 01254 871500.
