JAGUAR XJS Coupe - XJS Ride Quality

Q
I have a 1992 XJS 4.0-litre automatic coupe fitted with sports pack suspension. The road springs and dampers need to be replaced and I am thinking of changing to the softer non-sports pack arrangement. Apart from the road springs and dampers may I ask what other components would need to be changed?

A
That's about it really; the sports pack cars did also feature stiffer rack bushes and a rear anti-roll bar, but neither will affect the ride quality either way. If the ride still remains too firm for you it may be worth considering a move back to 15x6.5in wheels and 215/70/15 tyres as used on the earlier V12 cars.
